Simple and concise. Matching the twelve numbers of Dizhi(地支, Earthly Branches of Chinese Era), Taihe Boxing contains the circulation and transformation of Taichi, Yin-Yang(陰陽), Five Elements(五行) and Eight Trigrams(八卦) to assist body cultivation. Featuring the style of wilderness and fairy land, it is free from mortal world. During practice, one stands as firm as mountain and moves as freely as cloud. Leisure practitioner moves with nothing can be destroyed. Active practitioner moves with capability of destroying any stronghold. In steady state, one is merged into nature, no more oneself, not affected by surroundings. In moving, motion follows mind. The essence of Taihe Boxing is the grand harmony coordinating movements and relaxation of bones and meridians. The practice harmonizes five senses, seven orifices, four limbs, even pores and cells. On the whole, motions are rotary, fair, relaxing, quiet, soft and long-lasting. After long-term practice, one shall create own primary aura moving through the body, smoothing blood circulation and vital breath, as well as relaxing tendons and meridians. As a result, one shall attain physical and mental health.
