Wudang Martial Arts Series

Wudang Kungfu is the exemplar of internal boxing. It is natural and relaxing, energetic, soft, gentle and continuous, unrestrained and explosive, displaying the defensive side of the internal boxing. The attack is light and dexterous. The  tactic is striking back with the defensive strategy.

Wudang Taichi and kungfu have been used for national defense in the past to self-defense in modern time. They help improve health, shape figure, improve beauty, nurture mind and spirit, and relieve stress. Continuous practice improves mentality and vitality.

Wudang kungfu includes kungfu, dodge, Qigong, and free boxing. Internally, it focuses on the training of spirit, Qi and mind, adjusting the heart, respiration and body. Externally, it emphasizes the training of hands, eyes, body, method and move. Both internal and external kungfu insist on the principles of balance, upright, roundness, looseness, tranquility, softness, flexibility and amendment, paying attention to the cycle of Yin and Yang (vacuity and solidity), binding of roundness and arc, static and dynamic, softness and firmness. When self-cultivation reaches certain level, vitality and longevity will be improved. On the other hand, the application of human physiological characteristics plays an unexpected effect on self-defense against assailant.
