Course – Wudang Taichi
* Please note:
1. Duration of TaiChi courses offered by our Academy are specified in the Details of each course.(one lesson per week, and each lesson is 1.5 hours)
2. External Work courses – since there are variation in each student’s limbs coordination, knowledge comprehension, learning pace, and health state , therefore the stated course duration is estimated for reference only (on the basis of 4 lessons per month, each lesson is 1.5 hours). Course fee of External Work is billed on the actual course duration basis. Student still has to pay the course fee even he/she is absent from that lesson.
3. Specialized/Customized courses – course fee is charged according to its content basis.

Special features of TaiChi courses in our Academy
Human health originates from two parts, both of which are indispensable:
The first one is the external part of our body, which we call “Externally, perfecting Tendon, Bone and Skin” (also known as “External Work” or “Dynamic Work”), such as bones, joints, muscles, fascia, strength, balance, physical health, attack, etc., as well as protect and self-defence capabilities, etc.
The second is the health of our internal body, that is, “Internally, refining energy, Qi and spirit” (also known as “Internal Practice” or “Static Strength”): such as meridians, blood, Qi, internal organs, various internal physiological functions of our body, relaxation, stress release, mental state and internal health, etc.
The courses offered in our Academy are not just touching on the surface of the techniques, they are more in-depth to delve for physical and mental health, happy and easiness. These courses are not associated with any religion.
A. External Work
“External Work” can be trained through dynamic practice, such as Taichi , NeiYiQuan(两儀拳), Martial Art; “Internal Practice” can be trained through static practice, such as QiQong, Internal Alchemy. If these two can be practiced concurrently, which enable the body can be exercised internally and externally at the same time, body can get a better recuperation, more effective (please visit Students’ experience/demonstration of various courses).
The courses conducted at our Academy (TaiChi, NeiYiquan, martial arts) are different from those taught in the market, which are only superficially at the movement level, we teaches authentic Taichi, training both internal and external body, for the most effective life-nourishing and martial arts effect. This is also interesting, to have a systematic in-depth training of the body. Recuperation of physical and metal effects are prominent (refer Students’ experience /demonstration), this consists of 4 parts:
- Forms – Movements
- External work and Breathing method – expiration and inspiration, Dantian(丹田) breathing, Qi-moving in TaiChi/NeijiaQuan (內家拳), coordination of forms movement with internal breathing, so that these can be coalesced together to achieve drive boxing by Qi, combining internally and externally. This is the genuine training internally and externally, supreme Taichi/NeijiaQuan, achieving good results in boxing and life-nourishing.
- Application of the Forms – attack, self-defense, and protect. The principbasisle of our Academy is life-nourishing first, martial-arts second, pull punches (before impact). This is interesting with strong applicability. If one can comprehend the application of defense and attack Boxing techniques, practice persistently and boxing correctly, these can make better use of the health-enhancing and health-preserving effects of TaiChi.
- Theory – We don’t teach students as others do – to just let students follow the movements, but we will explain the underlying theories of the movements, for example, why to do this, why not to do that, and the theory/scientific basis.

C. Suggested methods to learn and exercise
We recommend students to learn and practice step by step, this will have a more prominent effect. The early phase is for elementary QiQong series, the later phase is for advanced Internal Alchemy or targeted physical and mental recuperation according to the needs. If student has a certain training on QiQong/Internal Alchemy/TaiChi, or has interest in some more advanced course(s), he/she can contact our Academy to find out more information or consult with us.
We also recommend student to practice Internal Practice and External Work concurrently, the result will be more prominent and effective.
