C14. Wudang Internal Alchemy, Elementary/Intermediate/Advanced Level

The Taoist’s internal alchemy is a complete training system of the source of life, i.e. vital essence, Qi and spirit. Through the cultivation of the disposition and life, including cultivating the vital essence into Qi, the Qi into spirit and the spirit into purity, the practitioner would achieve the integration with the nature, enjoy long and healthy lives and optimize the physical and mental health. The training of internal alchemy focuses on relaxing the body and mind, gathering the nutrition from the nature, absorbing the essence of the sun and the moon, closing water storage, accumulating and storing the Qi, and smoothing the circle of vital energy. Upon the completion of accumulation of the Qi through internal alchemy, the Ren Meridian and the Du Meridian will be opened up. The large- and small-circle of vital energy will continue to open up all other meridians inside the body and move towards the advanced environment of internal alchemy. The smooth circulation of blood-Qi through the body and the organs would promote a happy and healthy life. Regular practice would nurse the Qi and meridians, enhance immunity, smooth the Qi-blood, vivify the spirit and prolong life.
