Course Description

According to legend, Yijinjing (易筋經) was created by Buddhist monk Bodhidharma from Tianzhu (ancient India), but according to literature and historian Tang Hao’s research, it was actually created by Taoist Zining Taoist from Tiantai Mountain in the late Ming Dynasty. It is a combination of Taoist health-preserving practices and fitness methods that exercising muscles, bones and skin externally, refining mind, energy and spirit internally. It can cleanse the marrow and improve health inside and outside the body, just as if reborn. Elementary Level – Yijinjing:Yi (易)means change, Yin(筋)refers to bones, ligament, fascia,Jing(經)means orthodox doctrine, enables Yang Qi (陽氣) circulate smoothly around the body, use special unique technique to stretch bones and ligaments, it is good for improving bone and ligaments, especially for those suffering waist, neck and shoulder pain. Life nourishing is the base, boxing is the application, combining the internal and external training. Advanced Level – Xisuijing:via inhale and exhale to gather Qi and other techniques, a comprehensive rest and exercise for the human body, to transform the body and mind, cleanse the marrow and renew the bones. This helps to open up all channels from birth and after nurturing, let the eight extra meridians flow smoothly, blood and Qi circulate fleuntly.
