Course Description
Wudang KungFu is influenced by Taoist philosophy and art, it requires mental calmness, Qi fixated, spiritual focused, strengthened holistically. There is a saying in Chinese Martial Art ‘Staff strikes a large area, Qiang (spear) pierces in straight line’. The eight staff movements (Chop, Point, Pull-up, Hang, Swirl-overhead, Sweep, Block, Fence-off) are the basics of Xuanwu Staff. It prominently demonstrates staff and body are uniting as one, various forces are integrated, Yin Yang are inter-changed. During practice, it moves as swiftly as snake, breathes as stable as tortoise, roves as fierce as tiger, it is unstoppable, powerful and swift.
