Course Description
Chunqiu Dadao (Spring & Autumn Long Board Sword) is also known as Green Dragon Crescent Blade, it is one of the long weapons of Chen’s Taichi tools. It is also one of the weapons most specialized by Chen Wangting陳王庭, the Grand Master of Chen Style Taichi. As Grand Master Chen Wangting had long beard, his image waving the Chunqiu Dadao looked like Guan Yu關羽, the famous general of Three Kingdoms who was skilful in using the Green Dragon Crescent Blade. Thus, Grand Master Chen was regarded as ‘comparable to Guan Yu’.
The movement is reasonably designed covering all directions with striking, chopping, knocking, hanging, cutting, hacking, severing, blocking, poking, stabbing, pushing, pulling, and withstanding. Its efficient movement styles like a fierce tiger.
