A2. Wudang Taichi – The 28 Postures (4 months)

The 28 Postures is the simplified form of Wudang’s primary boxing, Sanfeng Taichi 108 Postures. It is consolidated by Master Zhong Yunlong, the 14th Leader of Sanfeng School, for promoting Wudang’s health preservation culture.  It features similar content, style and characteristics with The 108 Postures, but is very different from The 13 Postures.

Inheriting the outstanding function of health preservation and fighting, the 28 Postures is the essentials of Wudang Taichi. Being short and precise, it has no duplicated action and is easy for learning and practicing. It takes only 5-6 minutes to complete so it is favourable for daily practicing especially for the need of competition in and outside the country.

The boxing is popular amongst the Taoist temples and Wudang Martial Arts schools. As it wholly presents the charm of Wudang Taichi, it is the representative series of Wudang Kufung in performances and key competitions of martial arts.
