C2. Wudang Nourishing Life Practice – Standing Meditation Practice (3 months)

As the basic of Taichi, standing meditation practice contains both the internal and external cultivation. Externally, it trains the tendon, bone and skin, while internally, it trains the energy, qi and spirit.

The training is in two parts: dynamic and static methods. The dynamic method is the miniature of Taichi, which would adjust the breathing, activate the qi-blood, exercise the tendon and bone, train the internal and external six-mixtures.  The static method specializes in building the Wuji inner force through the training of the three valuables of human being, the energy, qi and spirit.

The whole training includes breathing, Daoyin exercise, collection & nutrition, circulation of vital energy, Zhuang practice, qi movement, and coordination of the internal and external cultivation.  The practitioners would gradually reach the state of mixtures of posture & consciousness, consciousness & qi, and qi & spirit.
