‘China Martial Arts Grading System’ is national regulation of People Republic of China, a rating system for evaluating martial arts levels set up by the China Wushu Association(中國武術協會). It is the most authoritative Chinese Martial Arts Professional Review qualification recognized in the world. Through promotion level by level, martial arts practitioner can gradually understand and master the martial arts knowledge and boxing technology, achieve the purpose of scientific physical exercise. There is a total of nine levels, according to boxing types and grades. The technical assessment is conducted in the form of a traditional martial arts ‘combination of practice and fighting’ that can be used for individual training, sparring, and actual combat. In the first five level, technical aspects are emphasized incrementally, to examine the five martial elements: hit, kick, grab, lean, throw. The sixth level examines the integration of these five elements. The examination is conducted and invigilated according to all those related Boxing forms and standards of each level specified in ‘China Martial Arts Level Teaching series’.
